Foodie Friends Episode 2: Dining at Fortune Wheel

Hey, guys! We’re back with another episode of the newly rebranded “Foodie Friends”! We realized that the name “Foodie Five” was a little too restrictive for what we want to do with this series. In order to include more of the best people Jericho has to offer, we decided to make this name change. With that out the way, in this episode we visited Fortune Wheel in Levittown, NY to try out some Hong Kong style dinner. For moral support and expert culinary critique, I brought along: Avery Porges, Matthew Lecher, Dylan Swickle, and Maya Yu. With a mix of seafood, meat, and everything in between, Fortune Wheel offered the perfect representation of Cantonese food! We thoroughly enjoy making these videos and want to hear even more of your ideas! Thanks for watching and until next time, that’s a wrap!

I really like how the Foodie Friends is branching out to try different types of Chinese food and not just the typical Mandarin style. I practically grew up on Cantonese food in my household so those dishes are very familiar to me. Having that first soup is pretty much a tradition whenever my family goes out to dinner. At first I wasn’t a fan but it eventually grew on me! There’s 8000 terra cotta soldiers?? That’s insane! I can’t believe the entire army was just lying underground and found by a farmer trying to dig a well. Great video!

This video was very entertaining! I’ve never been to the Fortune Wheel before, so I’ve never eaten the food there. I know that there are so many diverse Chinese dishes, so I liked how you guys tried different kinds of food from the restaurant such as the pork pancakes and the corn soup. I’ve had Cantonese food before, but I learned so much more about the Hong Kong styled dishes which was very different from the food from Beijing House. I also liked how you showed that the two of you guys had a Cantonese background. It was informative when you guys asked questions about Chinese History fun facts which I thought was really cool. I can’t wait for the next episode!

I think that this video was really interesting. I know that the Fortune Wheel isn’t that far from Jericho, but I will likely try it sometime soon. I’m Cantonese and have tried many of food eaten in the video. I noticed how the Fortune Wheel had many different foods from the Beijing House and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it. I also learned about different interesting facts about China and thought they were really interesting. I’m not going to lie, but this episode of the Foodie Friends made me EXTREMLY hungry. Keep up the entertaining videos.

This video was very entertaining and interesting! I have never ate at that restaurant, but it looks very good. The editor of this videos did very well with simple edits that make the video funny. For example, zooming in on someone. I learned many new dishes that I most likely would have never knew without this video. I love the Chinese facts part. Great video, looking forward for the next one!

They’re back! It’s great how thedailychina is incorporating videos to inform us about Chinese culture. This time it’s Cantonese food, from the Fortune Wheel. I’ve been to the Fortune Wheel before for a celebration, but never really enjoyed the food. I guess it’s because I’ve just grown up in a Mandarin family, and only introduced to Mandarin foods. It’s cool how Matthew also talked about his trip and experience in China, how Chinese history was somehow thrown in there, and how Episode 1 experiences were mentioned. I understand how capturing crisp audio might be a problem with so many people chatting around the restaurant, but maybe a boomstick mic would help, although that’s a bit expensive. But overall, great video! Keep up the good work!

  6. Flora Q

This video was amazing! I love how you guys are very open to trying different types of Chinese food and not just sticking to the same thing. Personally, I’ve barely ever eaten Cantonese food, so I think this video was very informative. I love how each person describes what food they’re eating because it helps people learn about Cantonese food. It was also super cool how you guys asked questions about China and it’s history. Amazing job, I can’t wait for the next video!

  7. Matthew Lecher

What a great experience being part of the Foodie Friends Team, this time dining at The Fortune Wheel. The dinner was great: the culinary was extremely traditional , yet inventive, and the decor was extremely warm and inviting. We were able to have conversations with the staff, and management about our journey with the Chinese language and culture, and hear their stories as well. The food was absolutely divine. My favorite dish that we ordered was the finale, a red bean soup dessert , which was a blend of flavors exploding in my mouth. Not only was the culinary such a valuable part of the experience, but the company was great too. I look forward to participating in more of these dining events with my colleagues in TDC very soon!

  8. Jason Zheng

I think the video was interesting. I’ve eaten Cantonese food but not a lot. I liked the facts used. The chopstick fail was funny, Keep up the good work.

  9. Maya Yu

Aw! This was such a great experience! I’m so glad I could be a part of the video! I loved the red bean soup; I remember eating it around the holidays, and it brings back so many great memories! I can’t wait to film the next episode; keep up the great work!

  10. Juliann L

I really liked this video! I like how you guys tried different dishes than you guys did last time. I like Fortune Wheel’s food and am glad that you guys enjoyed it as well. I learned that since Hong Kong is an island, it has more access to seafood compared to other cities that are inland. I’m glad that you guys went to try a different type of Chinese food this time. I love that you guys are continuing to go to different Chinese restaurants and try out the food there. I can’t wait for the next video!

  11. Avery Porges

I had such an awesome time! Although I’ve never had most of these dishes before, I totally want to have them again, and maybe even try some new ones. Hopefully, we can try even more new food, and even bring along a bunch of new people to join us! TIl next time!!

  12. Jasmine Chen

Interesting video! I’ve never been to the Fortune Wheel before. These Cantonese foods seem very different from the dishes at the Beijing House. I liked how this episode introduced more people into the series. It’s cool that you guys answer questions while dining. Keep up the great work!

  13. Ria Bhasin

Great video! I really enjoy this new thing you guys are doing. It’s a very unique and interesting idea. I love Chinese food so watching these videos really help with what to order and where to go to. Something you guys taught me is that there are 8,000 terracotta soldiers who are covered. That’s so cool. I can’t wait to see your next video.

  14. Caroline Gross

Great video! I really like the new videos about going to different Chinese restaurants. It is so interesting to see how the food differs from one restaurant to another. I really enjoyed the questions you were asking each other. I have never been to the Beijing House or Fortune Wheel but these Foodie Friends videos are definitely making me want to try it! I also enjoyed Matthew talking about his trip to China and overall these are great videos and teach a lot about the Chinese culture.

  15. Eric Wang

Great job guys! The video was very entertaining and very well edited. I like this video very much because it is branching out to try different types of Chinese food. Me personally, I grew up in a mandarin household, so I have no idea about all these Cantonese dishes, and after I saw these videos, it opened up my interest about trying the different type of Chinese restaurants and different dishes within them. Not just that, I also learned that since Hong Kong is an island, it has more access to seafood compared to other cities that are inland. By watching this video, I can also learn about a lot of facts and I love that part. Great video, looking forward to the next one!

  16. Esther Lin

Amazing video! It’s so cool that you guys are trying to incorporate new ways of presenting Chinese culture on thedailychina. I’ve actually been to Fortune Wheel before with Cantonese family friends. I don’t have Cantonese dishes a lot but I know they are delicious. After watching this video, I’m eager to try out more types of Chinese dishes from different parts of China. Can’t wait for the next episode~

  17. Tiffany Chen

This was such an entertaining video! I really like Cantonese food and always love my trips to Hong Kong for some of the amazing food they have there. I’ve never been to Fortune Wheel before, but maybe I’ll go in the future. I liked how you tried a different style of Chinese food from the last video. Great job with the video! I hope to see more like this soon!

  18. Ethan Wang

I thought this was very interesting. I like this episode because I like Cantonese food. I enjoy how you guys are trying all types of Chinese food. I have never heard of this place before. It sounds very good and I hope to try it.

  19. Herin Ahn

I’m so glad that another Foodie Friends video’s up! Like most of the people, I’ve never been to Fortune Wheel. I thought the food they ate would taste really good (especially the first one). Although I’ve eaten many kinds of traditional Chinese food, I’ve never tried any Cantonese food. This video introduced some of the Cantonese food, and I definitely want to try them. After watching the first video, I persuaded my family to go to Beijing House and try their food! Fortune Wheel also looks like a very good restaurant. It takes about fifteen minutes to get there, so I’m definitely going to this place and trying out some Cantonese food. Great job on the video guys!

  20. Morgan Park

Wow! I thought this video was very interesting and entertaining. I have seen some of the foods, but I have never tried it. In fact, I have never tried any Cantonese food. It looks very good and interesting. I will try to go to Fortune Wheel and try to food. Great video!

  21. Joey Liu

I feel like the majority of the restaurants I go to for lunch or dinner never really live up to my expectations. My dad is a really good cook so food at home was usually better than food in restaurants. I also was never able to differentiate cuisines (上海菜,福州菜,四川菜,等等). I feel like the food is pretty similar. Its usually something like 炒饭,炒河粉,捞面,等等。Thanks for the great video!

  22. Naomi Yu

Great video! I love the idea of visiting local Chinese restaurants, especially those with regional cuisine. Growing up in a Cantonese household, I saw familiar dishes including 芥蓝,红豆汤,and炒饭。Fish maul soup, one of my favorites, is definitely a must-have when visiting Canton or Hong Kong and I loved how you guys incorporated this little know dish into the video. Additionally, it was interesting to see the contrast between the food served at the Beijing House in the previous video and the food served at the Fortune Wheel. Can’t wait for the next video!

  23. Mathew Liang

Great video! I really how you guys are exploring Chinese culture and going more into Cantonese style since it had been overlooked by the Mandarin style. It is so interesting to see how the food differs from one restaurant to another. You guys had really interesting discussions. I have never been to the Beijing House or Fortune Wheel but these Foodie Friends videos are definitely making me want to try it! This is a really interesting video

  24. Jason Suh

Great video guys! I have never been to the Fortune Wheel myself, but the food looks delicious! I thought that the pork pancakes in particular looked good, although I will agree that scallion pancakes are better! I have never seen the corn and fish soup before, but I want to try it. I also enjoyed the fact that you guys included questions about China in this video! I didn’t know that the Terra Cotta Warriors were discovered by a farmer digging a water well! The Foodie Friends videos never fail to leave me smiling, and hungry! Keep them coming. Great job!

  25. Ryan Lam

I found this video fun and entertaining. It was interesting to see some of you try new things you’ve never tried before. My dad is Cantonese, so I actually go to Fortune Wheel quite often. I liked how you guys went here after the Beijing house because it shows how much variety there is in Chinese food. I’m glad everyone enjoyed it, and I’ll be looking forward to the next video.

  26. Rona Cao

This video is so entertaining! I’ve never actually tried Cantonese food, but seeing you guys try it made me crave it. I should go to Fortune Wheel sometime to try it out. I love how you guys had a blast eating Cantonese food while chatting about some facts about China. Cantonese food is very different from what I perceive as Chinese food, but it looks delicious nonetheless.

  27. Helen Zhang

This was such an amazing video! Even through my family isn’t Cantonese, but we would always go to Cantonese restaurants. I never been to Fortune Wheel, but I heard of it before. This is definitely the restaurant I would go the next time my family goes out to eat. The red bean soup seems delicious, and I would love to try that. Good job!!

  28. Jaosn Li

Great Job filming the episode. The content is amazing and I would love to try some of the foods in the video. The restaurant looks amazing and I intend to go there to eat there one day. This was the best place you went to so far. Nic Job

  29. Jye Shang

What a great video! What’s really interesting is that I just went to that restaurant today. I recognized some of the foods you ate when I went today and ordered some of them. They were really great and I enjoyed every last bite. Thanks for posting this video and I hope you continue to post videos like this!

  30. Preethi S.

I like how you all started out with this new segment of The Daily China and are continuing to make more videos! I like how the Foodie Friends are exploring new restaurants and trying different types of foods that most viewers here on The Daily China aren’t familiar with. I haven’t tried any of the dishes you guys ordered in the video. Usually, when I order Chinese food, I get noodles, fried rice, soup or maybe spring rolls. Watching your videos allows me to see what other kinds of foods I can eat and new restaurants I can dine in with my family. I loved how Dylan was incorporating trivia into the video to keep this video relevant to Chinese culture. Great video! Can’t wait for the next episode of Foodie Friends!

  31. Kelly Wang

I’m glad that this is a series! I loved the humor in this video. Since I was young I have loved the corn soup that Chinese restaurants serve. Sometimes my mother makes for me as well. Keep up the good work, I hope you guys don’t run out of restaurants!

  32. Pritesh Patel

Great job! I recently went to that place. However, I didn’t order most of the stuff that you guys did. I really enjoy how The Daily China are making more videos like this. Honestly, I might have to go back and try some of the foods that you guys ate. I also thought that editing in the video was great. Can’t wait to see more of the Foodie Friends!

  33. Derek Chu

Its great that you guys are trying out other foods from Asia as well. My extended family is from many different regions of china, and we often eat Cantonese food just like this. I’ve been to many Cantonese restaurants, and my family usually orders the same things. Watching this video, theirs definitely some other items i would like to try out the next time we go out. I would love to see a video of the Foodie Friends where you eat Hunan cuisine, its definitely more exotic and something you guys should try, Great video!

  34. Tina Qin

    这个视频拍的非常有意思!作为TDC的成员之一我也想参与到拍摄当中。这次介绍的都是美式化的港式美食。我最喜欢的还是里面的那道汤–鸡蓉玉米羹。非常的好吃!

  35. Mackenzie Setton

Really cool video! I was a big fan of the first video, and the second one kept me interested and entertained as well. I really enjoyed all the fail encounters, I found them very creative. Even though I have never tried any of the foods in the video, they all looked delicious and amazing! The commentary kept me entertained throughout the entire video and I learned a lot of new information about Chinese culture and cuisine. I think I was an interesting decision also to try a Cantonese style restaurant rather than sticking to only mandarin styled cuisine. The video came out great, the editing was spot on, and I can’t wait for more to come! I also can’t wait to try the Fortune Wheel! Maybe for your next video, you could work on dessert or drink reviews. Great video!!!

  36. Feifan Li

Great video! It’s so cool that you guys are trying to incorporate new ways of presenting Chinese culture on thedailychina. Chinese cuisine is not only delicious, it also has a long history, and even different regions in China have different specialties. I hope I can try all the Chinese specialties.

  37. Boshu Li

  38. Dylan Swickle

Great video, I had such an amazing time filming this video with everyone and it’s definitely something I want to be apart of again. I really enjoyed trying food that I personally have never had before, and having Nick share the names of the different foods in Cantonese, as well as speaking to the waiters in Cantonese, helped me learn a little bit of the language in the process. I really enjoyed the food, except for the two dishes I could not eat, and would love to go back to Fortune Wheel to try more of their food. The conversations that we shared, and the experiences we made that night as friends are unforgettable and I can’t wait to see where the Foodie Friends adventure takes all of the viewers. keep up the good work guys!

  39. Dillon Jia

Great video! Although I’ve never been to that restaurant, I recognized some of those dishes. I liked how you decided to try a different style of restaurant. The chopstick counter fail was really funny. Although the video quality wasn’t too great, the editing was great. Keep up the good work!

  40. Joshua Cheuk

This is a great video! I thought that this video was very intriguing and entertaining! I liked how you guys added trivia questions to the video because it made me try to figure out the answer to those questions. I did recognize some of those dishes such as the pork patty, fish ma with corn soup, and the Chinese broccoli with beef. Although I’ve never been to Fortune Wheen before, the food looks really good. I hope you guys make the next video soon!

  41. Peter Ochalek

Great video/vlog! I bet this must have been really fun to film. I really want to go to this restaurant now. It’s good that you tried out different restaurants, and I feel that you might be able to go around making these videos and review various restaurants this way. Also, those were some quality chopsticks. Hopefully you guys keep these vides up!

  42. Oscar Yan

This was a great video! It looks like a great restaurant that’s not too far from Jericho. I’ll be psyched to try it out. I’m half Cantonese and have tried many of food eaten in the video. The foods are different from mainland cuisine but people still liked it. I also learned about different interesting facts about China and thought they were really interesting. I can’t wait for the next episode!

  43. Beibei Chen

I love this video! It’s greatly edited, and some parts of the video was very funny. I like how you showed the food close up, this really made me hungry. I have to go to this restaurant someday to try it out. Can’t wait for the next episode of Foodie Friends!

  44. Emily Shi

I’m glad to see another Foodie video! What I really like about the previous video is that you guys showed us each dish. However, you guys did not incorporate as much of that into this video. I think it would be cool if you showed us the different foods you guys try. In the end, it’s great that you guys decided to try another form of Chinese food. I highly recommend that you guys try Fuzhounese food someday! Great video though!

  45. Michael P.

Wow, great job guys, the commentary and editing is second-to-none. This video reminds me of the witty banter that we had at dinner when we went to China. We were always so excited at going to dinner to talk about the exciting day we just had, and we were ready to try new and exciting foods. Each restaurant felt like a new adventure. I fondly recall when Avery filmed us while he spun his phone around the Lazy Susan that seemed to be present at every table in China. That whole experience was unsurpassed and I thank you guys for reminding me of it. Keep up the great work!

  46. Brandon Wong

Wow guys! I remember my trip there a few months ago and I should go back sometime soon. Also, I’m glad that you liked the soup even though I refused to drink it every time we ordered it. I also love the editing on this video and the camera shots too! And good choice changing the name from the “Foodie Five” to the “Foodie Friends. I hope you guys go to more restaurants in the future around the area! Keep up the good work!

  47. Jeff Bao

Amazing job guys! I’ve been to Fortune Wheel before and I think the food they serve there is pretty good. I haven’t tried some of the dishes you guys ordered, but I hope I will get to try it the next time I go to Fortune Wheel. Last time I went to Fortune Wheel was with my family and every time I go out with my family, it’s always a memorable moment. It seems that you guys also enjoyed the moment when you guys were dining. Furthermore, I liked how you guys implemented questions throughout the video. I hope to see you guys go to more restaurants and enjoy these moments!

  48. Nicholas Yum

I’m glad that many of you guys are enjoying these videos. This one in particular was fun to make as Fortune Wheel is a restaurant that my family has been going to even before I was born! I was practically raised on their food and it’s always our go-to spot. This series has already accomplished my goals of introducing my friends to more of the food that Chinese culture has to offer and providing quality content for all of you viewers to enjoy! I can’t wait to see where this series takes us and what adventures we’ll be sharing with the world! Thanks for watching!

  49. Andrew Cheung

This was such a great video! My family has a Cantonese background and we often go to many restaurants with Cantonese style dishes. Even a few of my uncles and aunts own a few restaurants with Cantonese styled food and offer me free food which I gladly accept. I’ve been to Fortune Wheel once or twice, and I can say that I love crispy pan fried noodles and order it whenever possible. They have a wide assortment of seafood to choose from, shrimp and squid being my personal favorite. Fortune wheel also has some of my favorite dim sum like steamed shrimp dumplings on their menu which is an extra plus to their already delicious Cantonese styled food. Once again, this was such an interesting video and I hope that there will be another episode just as entertaining!

  50. William Chen

Another great video! I wish to see more of these videos in the future. Even though I’ve never specifically been to a Cantonese restaurant, I think, I was able to recognize a few of these dishes just from past experiences at other restaurants, or food that my parents make at home. The video was not only entertaining but also educational in a sense. I’m looking forward to where you guys will be eating next!

  51. Steven Yu

These videos of the Foodie Friends are fun to watch. I like the editing and the camera work. I think it is interesting to see other people’s reactions to eating Chinese food.

  52. Renee Lin

I love how you guys try different styles of chinese food. For example you guys tried cantonese food this time.I personally liked the fried rice the best. I also like how throughout the meals you would include some educational conversations. I do suggest speaking louder at some parts. There were many parts where i couldn’t hear.

  53. Renee Lin

  54. Audrey Chan

I really want to see more of this series! I’m Catonese and some of these dishes I have never eaten, in look forward to trying some of them in the future. Just like the last video, I really enjoyed the commentary on the food and to each other, I found it very entettaining. The upperclassmen managed to make the video informative and interesting to watch! In my opinion, I love crispy pan fried noodles out of all/most Chinese cousine. I look forward to the next video from the FoodieFriends.

  55. Wesley Pergament

Looks like an amazing experience and wish I could have been there! I have always wanted to compare the difference between Mandarin and Cantonese food and this video definitely gave me a better understanding of this. I really liked the parts when you all shared your experiences in learning the Chinese language. It was interesting to hear what everyone had to say. It’s also great to see that Nick was able to share one of his favorite restaurants with other people for them to enjoy. I can’t wait to see and participate in even more of these videos and come up with more fun content for everyone!

  56. Nephreti Britt

This was such an insightful and educational video! It is so great that you guys try to explore different cuisine from different parts of china. I’ve never been to the fortune wheel before but now i think I should go since I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant that mainly serves Cantonese food before, in fact i don’t think I’ve tried that much Cantonese food before. All the food looks really delicious and definitely made my mouth water. The video was also very entertaining because of all the dramatic zoom ins and music. overall it was a great video so keep up the good work!

  57. Jennifer Lin

This is so cute! I love fortune wheel! and I also love dimsum. I would love to be a guest on the next adventure. This is really cool.

  58. jason

    很棒的视频!详细的介绍了中国各地的美食,把我都看馋了。希望可以出更多这样的视频。

  59. Hitomi Honda

Yummy! Love this video and wish I were there enjoying those delicious food. I’ve been to Fortune Wheel many times for luncheon dim-sum and dinner. Enjoyed those pushcarts coming around while the lady pushing the cart is calling out the different variety of dim sum in her particular cart. My favorite dish for dinner at the restaurant is the 班腩煲。 It’s a fish filet casserole with bean curd. Next time I go there, I’ll be sure to try out the delicious dishes in your video! Thank s for sharing! Looking forward to your next amazing food hunt.

  60. Douglas Chen

Great Video! The video was very amusing and very well done. I like this video very much because it is about many different types of Chinese food. I grew up in a mandarin household so i didn’t know much about these Cantonese dishes,it interested me about trying the different type of Chinese restaurants and different dishes from them. Not just that, I also learned that since Hong Kong is an island, it has more access to seafood compared to other cities that are inland. By watching this video, I also learned many facts which is another extra.

  61. Joshua Dong

This was yet again another great video by the foodies! I’ve eaten a lot of the dishes that they tried in the video such as the soup they tried in the beginning and I really like their reactions to the food. I think the video would have been better if there was less noise in the background, it sort of made it hard to hear what they were saying. The questions they asked while they were eating were also interesting and insightful. The editing in this video was as good as the last video and even a little better! I love the videos that the foodie’s post and I look forward to more of them in the future!

  62. Jake Moreh

Wow this a really unique video! My favorite part was watching the reactions of our classmates to the food. I’ve never been to the Fortune Wheel, but I definitely want to try it out now. The editing with the zoom ins and black and white transitions were very amusing. I never knew that Hong Kong is such an important country in the seafood industry due to its central location by the sea. I have never had Cantonese food so it should be an interesting experience.

  63. Meghna Satheesh

This was a really entertaining video! I like how you guys are trying all different types of Chinese cuisine in this series, and I can’t wait to see more! All the dishes featured in this video looked absolutely delicious, and I am definitely putting Fortune Wheel on my list of restaurants to visit. I have tried Cantonese food before, but I have not tried any of the shown. I also love how you incorporated facts about Chinese culture during your discussion, such as the Terracotta soldiers, and how they were discovered by a farmer. I have visited Xi An and have seen the Terracotta soldiers, but I have never heard about the means of how they were recovered. I can’t wait to see more from the Foodie Five!

  64. Teran Jafari

This is a very well done video. I really admire the amount of time it took to edit this video so then it is visually presentable. This channel has a lot of potential in the near future I foresee. This channel reminds me of the show Anthoney Bourdain where he tries food from all around the world and brings people he knew with him. Except you guys are doing it exclusively with only Chinese cuisine. After watching your video I admire the courage everyone took to try new foods and get out of their comfort zone and standards of what defines food. One suggestion I would like to make is trying to edit and tune out all the background sounds in the restaurant because it made it really hard to understand what was going on. Overall, a great video!

  65. Harrison Berger

Great Video Guys! I’m so glad you guys made a second one. I have heard of this restaurant and have been wanting to go but never had the opportunity or time. After watching this video, I think it is great that you guys are going out of your comfort zone and trying new cuisines/types of food. One critique I would like to make is it is a bit hard to hear you guys with all of the background noise. One other thing, Matt you were very funny throughout the whole video! Great video!

  66. Andrew Lee

Thanks for another both informative and entertaining food video, as it was very well put together and edited (the camera and editing work was very well done)! I like how you ordered completely different foods from the last video in a Cantonese style cuisine restaurant. I myself have been to Fortune Wheel many times, however I had not tried out many of the foods that you had ordered. Similar to the last video, I liked how you added many entertaining comments, as it kept me captivated. All the foods looked very appetizing, especially the desert of red bean soup and the soup at the beginning of the video. Another nice touch to the video that I liked was that you guys interacted with the waiters at the restaurant, as well as online. I hope you guys continue to make such great videos, maybe expanding it to different topics besides food in the future.

  67. Ethan Zhu

This video was really well put together and had tons of information! I have been to Fortune Wheel many times myself, and have tried some of the foods shown in the video. The dialogue throughout the whole video really kept me interested. The food there looked amazing. The comparison between Mandarin and Cantonese cuisine got my attention. Maybe try to tune out the background noise next time as that sometimes could get annoying. Really glad that you guys made another video! I would like to see more of these types in the future!

  68. Daniel Yeh

I really enjoyed watching the video I was very well produced and edited. I thought it was nice seeing the differences between this video and the last and how the different styles of food were served. I also thought it was a nice to hear more about the people who ran the daily China. And I also found it interesting that the food was served as Cantonese food instead of the typical mandarin food found around most parts of northern China.

  69. April Song

    谢谢你们,拍得太好了!你们吃得这么开心,让看的人也觉得饿了!

I really liked this video. It was funny and informational. I learned about a new restaurant today and I am planning on going there soon! While watching my mouth was watering as I was very hungry while watching. Well anyways great job and hope for more content in the future!

Wow. This is a really interesting video! I think that it was wonderful to show different types of Chinese dishes to the outside world. Comparing the two types of Chinese dishes really caught my eyes. Thanks for sharing this information to the outside world.
