This year, Jericho High School had an international night, celebrating different cultures and languages! The Chinese Honor Society participated and performed dances while serving Chinese food to the community! Here are some highlights from this incredible night:
小苹果 Dance:
Members of the CHS performed a dance to the song 小苹果, which translates into little apple. They did an amazing job dancing!
Chinese Food (中国菜):
Many people brought in so much Chinese food that was delicious! There were a variety of different types of dumplings, noodles, fried rice, spring rolls, sushi, and a variety of Chinese snacks.
Game Booth (游戏):
The CHS had two different game booths. The first one tested your chopstick skills by making you pick up ping pong balls and making a sentence with the words printed on them. The second game booth was a test of your knowledge of trivia about China!
Besides all of the fun at the Chinese booth, many other languages were highlighted at this event as well such as French, Latin, Spanish, and Italian. Until next time, 再见！

International night was a very fun night and I enjoyed it a lot. I loved seeing the different cultures being appreciated on this day and the food was amazing. I think its great that all the other languages got to see what other languages were experiencing!

Great job. I was at International Night, so it is so nice to see that everything come out as a success. The dance was amazing! I saw it live, and everyone a part of it worked hard and practiced a lot. The food and games were great too. I saw that many people were enjoying the games that were provided.
